Senator Woelfel moved to amend the bill on page eight, section forty-four, line seven, after the word “Users.” by adding the following: Notwithstanding any provision of this code to the contrary, any person who operates a motorcycle or motor-driven cycle without wearing a protective helmet or who allows a person not wearing a protective helmet to ride as a passenger shall maintain no less than $50,000 in medical payment insurance coverage on the vehicle covering the operator and any passenger not wearing a helmet.
